You’ll also identify the career-ready skills you already have, the skills you want to strengthen, and how to talk about those skills in resumes, interviews, networking conversations, and future opportunities.

- Review career-ready skills that are valuable across many fields, such as communication, critical thinking, adaptability, problem solving, professionalism, teamwork, technology literacy, and self-development.
- Identify 3 to 5 skills you have already built through school, work, volunteering, leadership, projects, family responsibilities, or other experiences.
- Choose 1 to 2 skills you want to strengthen to better prepare for internships, jobs, graduate school, or other career-building opportunities.
- Discuss how you can describe or demonstrate these skills in your resume, interviews, LinkedIn, networking conversations, or future applications.
