Our students' safety and success are our top priorities. Please thoroughly review the following documents that outline our Destined for College program, college coach expectations, and volunteer policies. You will be asked to confirm you’ve read and agreed to these agreements as part of the Mastery Assignment for this module.
- Data Tracking Responsibilities
Coach Reports: Every month, you will be required to submit a detailed Coach Report for each student you are matched with. The information we collect in this form helps us understand trends in student behavior and outcomes, inform student and coach programming, and implement changes to improve our program.
For transparency, we want to share that coach reports are both mandatory for our program and a tool we use to evaluate coaches at the end of the program year. After missing 3 coach reports in one program year, we begin the offboarding and dismissal process for college coaches. For more information on this, please review this document.
Surveys: Twice a year, once about midway through the program and once at the end, we send out a coach survey. These surveys are a place for you to leave feedback on the program, your experiences, and make recommendations.
As a College Coach, you will serve as our students’ primary connection to ScholarMatch and develop a more personal relationship than our staff. This is why submitting this data promptly is extremely important for us to be able to support you as you work with your student.
