In this milestone, you’ll work with your Career Coach to explore different search strategies, learn about the “hidden job market,” and identify opportunities that align with your interests, major, and career goals. By the end, you’ll have a clearer strategy for finding positions and understanding what it takes to apply.

- Meet with your Career Coach to discuss different ways to find internships, jobs, research opportunities, fellowships, volunteer roles, or other career-building experiences.
- Choose 2 to 3 search strategies that make the most sense for your career interests, major, and goals.
- Use those strategies to find 3 opportunities you may want to apply for.
- Review each opportunity and take note of important details, such as the deadline, qualifications, required materials, and skills needed.
- Discuss your findings with your Career Coach and identify your next steps, such as updating your resume, preparing application materials, networking, or continuing your search.
