With your transition plan in place, you’ll be ready to explore ongoing resources at your 4-year college to support your success and well-being.

This module introduces you to the resources at your 4-year institution that will help you thrive as a transfer student. 

You’ll learn how to access academic support, basic needs programs, and student organizations that can provide community and belonging.

Suggested Deadline

How to complete this milestone

  1.  Identify at least two academic support resources at your new campus (tutoring, writing center, etc.).
  2. Locate your campus’s basic needs center or office.
  3. Explore student clubs and organizations for transfer/community engagement.
  4. Save contact info for at least one staff member or peer mentor at your new school.
  5. Create your “transfer success toolkit” with all key links, contacts, and resources in one place.
